A Bali-influenced garden bar that provides treats, a dog bed, and a toy for visiting pups. The Salted Caramel Espresso Martini is, by all accounts, for the humans.
The Birdcage Tavern — Freemans Bay
Tacos, fried chicken, and a monthly Dog and Grog event run in partnership with Auckland Pet Hospital. Community, built around a shared interest.
Pocket Bar & Kitchen — Grey Lynn
A neighbourhood bar dishing out tacos, fried chicken, lamb chops, and cheesy arancini balls. Hosts a Dog and Grog event on the third Saturday of every month in partnership with Auckland Pet Hospital.
Parade — Ponsonby
Great burgers, evolving menu, and a garden that's an epic spot for your pup to do some serious puppy-watching while you chow down. Try the Wagyu beef smashed patty.
Beau Wine Bar — Ponsonby
For those who prefer natural wine to craft beer. Pet-friendly, considered, and quietly excellent.
The Paw Bar & Eatery — Parnell
Cocktails named after dog breeds. Tapas. A sense of humour worn lightly.
Little Creatures — Hobsonville
A former aircraft hangar turned brewery. Outdoor space, live music, and dedicated dog events. One of Auckland's most genuinely dog-inclusive venues.
The Garden Shed — Mount Eden
A cosy cafe by day and lively pet-friendly neighbourhood bar by night. Outdoor seating, an extensive beer selection, and a famous Shed Burger.
Citizen Park — Kingsland
A stunning garden in the heart of Kingsland where your dog can lounge around and soak up the sun while you enjoy some delicious food. The ultimate outdoor playground for your canine companion.
