Slicker brushes will work on most coat types. The short bristles will grab and remove loose hairs and debris. A daily brush will help reduce the amount of hair shed around your home. Keep in mind that frequent brushing will reduce tangles and matting. It also keeps your dog’s coat clean by removing surface debris and helping spread the natural oils produced by their skin. Brushing is a great way to bond with your dog and most of them will love how it feels. It will also help you inspect your dog’s skin for lumps, bumps, parasites or abnormalities.

How to Brush
Gently brush away from your dog’s skin in the same direction as the coat grows. Take your time to carefully untangle any knots, just as you would with your own hair. If the tangles aren’t coming out easily, try applying some Leave in Conditioner and use a comb or rake to separate the knot. If you are unable to loosen the knot, it’s time to visit your professional groomer or vet. We don’t recommend using scissors to cut out knots, as sometimes you can accidentely cut your dog’s skin. If your dog is nervous with the brush, take it slow and keep the experience positive – brushing small areas at a time and using treats or rewards can help.

We make every effort to get all online courier orders received before 12pm dispatched the same day. Please allow approximately 4-6 days for delivery on in stock items.
StevieLicksx® offers free shipping on standard orders over $200 **
For all orders under $200 a $8 courier delivery rate will apply to the North Island with a $12 courier delivery rate to the South Island.

You can make your return or refund request to hello@stevielicksx.com
Returns and exchanges will be accepted for items within 7 days of purchase.
Full priced products can be returned or exchanged providing it's in a saleable condition. If you intend to return an item:
- Please ensure that all tags and packaging are still attached.
- Items must not have been worn, altered, or washed. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been used.
- StevieLicksx® cannot accept returns on any perishable goods (food products) and custom-made orders.
Items must be returned to StevieLicksx® within 14 days of delivery. If the return exceeds our 14 day policy, we unfortunately will not be able to process your return and your order will be shipped back to you at an additional charge.
StevieLicksx® does not refund any shipping costs. The cost of the shipping on a returned item will be your responsibility unless the item sent is deemed to be faulty or has been sent in error by The Good Pet Home.
